Atlas Sound introduced two new products designed for security sound-masking applications. The M2000-SM surface-mount masking transducer is built for window, door, wall, and duct applications, with a subtle two-part transducer/transformer design that provides discrete placement and mounting options. The transducer uses NXT Exciter Technology within a 1-inch coil-mounted plate, while the transformer can be remote-mounted and adjusted with variable tap settings. The M2000-LP is a low-profile sound masking loudspeaker. Designed for use in raised access flooring and small plenum ceilings, it delivers 90 dB at 1 watt at 1 meter through two 2-by-4-inch paper cone speakers. Prices: M2000-SM, $153; M2000-LP, $184.
