Intelix announces the release of the DIGI-HDMI-HR, a professional-grade twisted-pair extender that distributes 1080i HDMI signals up to 150ft. The DIGI-HDMI-HR provides guaranteed extension of 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i high-definition signals up to 150ft. when using standard Cat-5e or Cat-6 cabling. Its unique circuit provides ESD protection, thereby safeguarding expensive source and destination equipment, and it allows power on either the send or receive end. In addition, diagnostic LEDs provide system status. The Intelix DIGI-HDMI-HR balun supports standard HDTV resolutions and is HDCP-compliant. Each DIGI-HDMI-HR includes one send balun, one receive balun, one power supply, and two mounting brackets. Retail price for the complete set is $249.95.
