Christie introduces LX50 projector

Christie, a provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, introduced the Christie LX50, its newest network-enabled LCD projector. The announcement caps an successful year for Christie, which saw the introduction of a record number of new products and the company's growth into rapidly expanding markets such as houses of worship, education, executive briefing and conference centers, and rental and staging.
The Christie LX50 projector provides 5000 ANSI lumens and 1200:1 contrast ratio, as well as XGA native resolution with scaling for signals up to SXGA resolution and all currently known HDTV formats. The latest progressive scan video creates crisp, clean artifact-free images. It has a wide range of short and long throw lenses and connectivity options, in a compact, portable design ideal for shared resources. The motorized zoom, focus and lens shift with Fast Lens Change mount allows for a full range of lens options that are easy to set up and easy to maintain.

The Christie LX50 projector represents a new level of versatility and performance to meet the most demanding needs of executive briefing and conference centers, small auditoriums, and rental and staging events. A long-life lamp and a three years' parts and labor warranty help minimize cost-of-ownership while "future-proofing" the investment. The wireless remote operates as a wireless mouse, for additional flexibility and freedom in any application. With optional ChristieNET, the Christie LX50 is networking-ready via the TCP/IP network for ultimate control and preventative maintenance.
