Christie Introduces MASTERSuite 4.0 Wall Management Software

Christie's new MasterSuite 4.0 display wall management software features a unique Web-based architecture, LiveView and Interactive modes, and automatic input cycling.

Christie is pleased to announce the latest evolution of its display wall management software: MasterSuite 4.0. Showcased at the recent InfoComm exhibition, MasterSuite 4.0 generated genuine excitement while becoming a focal point of the show for Christie. Designed around a unique Web-based architecture, MasterSuite 4.0 offers the following new features and benefits:

Pricing and Availability
MasterSuite 4.0 will soon become standard on all new FRC-5100 display wall controllers. It will also be available as a field upgrade to existing FRC-5000 and FRC-5100 controllers running Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Expected release and availability of MasterSuite 4.0 is July 11. A small price increase to the controller system applies, so please contact your Christie representative for new controller pricing. All existing controller orders based on older pricing will be fulfilled with V3.1 software. If you would like to change to MasterSuite 4.0, please advise your Christie representative to arrange for an upgrade. Also, for projects already quoted, Christie will continue to provide V3.1 software on request at the previous pricing for a period of 90 days from initial release.

For existing FRC-5000 and FRC-5100 controllers, upgrade kits to MasterSuite 4.0 are available in two options as outlined below. Note that Windows XP and Service Pack 2 are required.

  • Christie MasterSuite 4.0 field upgrade kit (105-103001)—standalone package including MasterSuite 4.0 CD and user manual
  • Christie MasterSuite 4.0 with XP/SP2 field upgrade kit (105-104001)—bundled package including Windows XP Professional with SP 2, MasterSuite 4.0 CD, and user manual

API support
The Christie MasterSuite 4.0 API is provided free of charge. Support from Christie engineering for custom third-party development using the API is a chargeable option and is available as follows:

  • API support (initial 50 hours)—Initial 50 hours or one year (whichever comes first)
  • API support (additional 25 hours)—additional 25 hours or one year (whichever comes first).
