The new 16-channel SC-9216R speaker line tester from Inter-M Americas can be used to automatically or manually detect fault conditions within any audio system that uses amplifiers and loudspeakers. Only two rack spaces high, the compact unit operates on either AC mains or DC power.

Inter-M Americas's new SC-9216R 16-channel speaker line tester can be used for automatic or manual fault detection.

The SC-9216R conducts automatic tests according to timed test interval settings established by the user. Front-panel displays and controls found on the line tester include an LCD screen showing status of operation and system conditions. Cursor and enter buttons are conveniently located to facilitate channel selection, time settings, and the activation of operational commands. When a fault is discovered, a fault indicator illuminates and a buzzer sounds.

Expanding the SC-9216R for 32-channel use is easy with Inter-M's model SC-9116R expansion unit, which interfaces with the line tester via an expansion port on its rear panel. Amp-in and speaker line connection terminals also reside out back, as does a channel select switch, 24V DC terminals, and terminals allowing a number of operations to be performed from remote locations.

Ruggedly built to provide years of faithful service, the SC-9216R speaker line tester is easy and intuitive to operate. It is sold exclusively through authorized Inter-M dealers around the globe.
