Lowell’s ACSP line of single and multi-circuit surge suppressors is now shipping with an optional built-in ground transient filter (GTF), which virtually eliminates potentially damaging electromagnetic transients and noise on the ground wire.

Lowell's ACSP line of UL- and ETL-listed, single- and multi-circuit 20A surge suppressors is now shipping with an optional built-in ground transient filter (GTF). Designed for rack, wall, or load center applications, the compact assemblies use advanced filtering to virtually eliminate potentially damaging electromagnetic transients and noise on the ground wire.

Perfect for safeguarding sensitive equipment such as that used in telecommunications, security, fire, AV, and data applications, as well as corporate boardroom electronics, business PCs, and retail point-of-sale terminals, the GTF-equipped surge suppressors are also recommended for use anywhere high-frequency power quality is a problem.

Equally capable of protecting equipment from transient voltages, spikes, and surges, every ACSP series product additionally shields line-to-neutral, defeats surges up to 72,000A, and meets GSA Grade A – Mode 1 – Class 1 endurance using Lowell's proprietary Triple Clamping Redundancy (TCR) technology.

Lowell’s ACSP single-circuit surge suppressor models with GTF feature two isolated ground duplex outlets on rotating 90-degree plates for easy front or side access in rackmount applications. Outlet plates can also be replaced with blank 90-degree plates (also provided) to maintain a clean appearance in hardwire applications.

ACSP multi-circuit models with GTF feature up to six 20A circuits enclosed in a box with terminal outputs and knockouts to provide surge suppression and ground transient filtering for AC load centers. The devices may also be used with Lowell’s time-sequenced load center system.

Ground transient filter technology is available exclusively from authorized Lowell dealers nationwide. Resale pricing for the filter kit only with two duplex outlets is $282. Single-circuit surge suppressor packages with GTF resale for $584, and the multi-circuit versions begin at $1,062 resale.
