TC Electronic Names Blecher Director of Sales

Ken Blecher joins TC Electronic US July 1, 2005.

John Maier, CEO of TC Electronic US, has announced that industry veteran Ken Blecher has been appointed director of sales for the live, install, and broadcast markets for the Westlake Village, Calif.-based company. Blecher, who brings 25 years of industry experience to the position, will start July 1, 2005.

According to Maier, “We’ve moved to a market-based sales structure in our continuing effort to establish a business model that reflects the markets we serve. Ken’s experience and relationships are precisely what we need to continue our success in the live and broadcast markets and to establish ourselves in the installation market.”

Earlier this year, TCUS announced a new initiative and a series of products from Lab.gruppen that will expand its reach from tour sound into the installation business. Maier adds, “We’re especially pleased to bring Ken on board right now, with Lab.gruppen’s C-Series beginning to penetrate the market.”

“I look forward to working with TC,” says Blecher. “TC and Lab.gruppen have a long history of bringing new technologies into the marketplace. My immediate attention will be to raise the awareness level of technologies and products in these specific markets, while improving communications and support to the live, install, and broadcast customers, users, and consultants.”
