Bitlogix's NetControl Advanced 1.8 software allows users to control audiovisual equipment including projectors in LAN/WAN environments. |
Bitlogix Software has announced the immediate availability of its NetControl Advanced 1.8, the latest version of its audiovisual control software for use in LAN/WAN environments. NetControl includes driver support for the latest network projectors from Eiki, Epson, Hitachi, and Sharp. NetControl supports more than 380 projector models with the addition of more than 130 new models.
The software dramatically increases asset management and monitoring capabilities for greater control over projectors and LCD monitors. An event management system allows users to schedule management tasks such as a remaining projector lamp time summary or projector status read. Reports are automatically generated and can be delivered by email. A Control Manager function offers direct control of one or more projectors simultaneously over the network, an essential capability for helpdesk applications and online support requests. NetControl's automated search function incorporates two new Lantronix network interfaces, the UDS-10 and the UDS-100.
NetControl offers a powerful theft control engine that allows customers to monitor connected audiovisual devices. The software sends out email alert messages to digital cell phones, security systems, or other first-response systems when an alarm is triggered.
Netcontrol also includes an error report module that allows users to report software problems to Bitlogix with a click of a button.
NetControl Advanced 1.8 is easy to install, intuitive to manage, and highly reliable. It builds on Bitlogix's strategy of providing customers with freedom of choice for their audiovisual equipment investments, as well as the company's ability to offer a purely software-based control and automation solution, eliminating the need for cost-intensive hardware control systems.
