D-Tools Promotes Matt Rubenstein and Appoints Tim Bigoness

D-Tools announced the promotion of Matt Rubenstein to executive VP of sales and the addition of Tim Bigoness as VP of marketing. Rubenstein will the lead the company's revenue generation efforts while Bigoness will focus on marketing and communications.

“Matt has been a proven leader for our company and we wanted to allow him to focus his efforts on growing our sales organization,” says Adam Stone, president of D-Tools. “Adding Tim to our team gives us the opportunity to grow that side of our business as well. Tim is a dynamic, energetic marketing professional with a wealth of software industry experience and a great track record of building successful marketing programs and brand awareness for products that cater to creative and technical professionals. Rubenstein has more than 15 successful years of marketing, management, and sales experience in AV system design and integration. Rubenstein leads and is responsible for the sales organization of D-Tools, as well as participating in the design of D-Tools' products and functionality, company communications, and facilitates relationships with manufacturer partners and end users. Rubenstein began his career in the audiovisual communications system integration field in sales and marketing roles with major resellers and integrators in the Northern California area. He has design experience in presentation systems with front and rear projection, video and audio teleconferencing, AV for speech reinforcement, playback, as well as sound masking.

Bigoness brings more than 18 years' experience and background from within the television, publishing, multimedia, and internet industries, having been involved in all aspects of marketing, public relations, business development, and product management. Over the past 15 years, Bigoness has held executive and management positions with companies such as Macromedia, where he managed the Worldwide Developers Program and Made with Macromedia branding initiatives, and drove the creation of Macromedia Press. Prior to that he co-founded Morph’s Outpost, a technical trade publication for interactive media developers, and most recently held senior marketing positions at Equilibrium and Scene7.
