Part of Electro-Voice's IRIS Net, the Netmax N8000 controls an entire audio signal chain from a single user interface. |
The new nerve center of Electro-Voice’s IRIS Net is a modular digital audio matrix featuring a 32-input/32-output structure in 2RU height. The N8000 offers four module slots for local audio inputs and outputs, a CobraNet module slot for digital audio network connections, as well as Ethernet, CAN bus, and RS-232 interfaces for control and monitoring. The integration of multiple units with devices such as Electro-Voice RL series amplifiers in combination with IRIS Net technology represents a trail-blazing innovation in the industry: complete control of the entire audio signal chain, from the microphone to the loudspeaker, from a single user interface.
The processing power of an N8000 is 300 MIPS expandable up to 1000 MIPS per unit. This is equivalent to the power of a digital loudspeaker processor with eight inputs and 24 outputs fully armed with filter, delay, and dynamic banks in each input and output. As a result of its scalability, configuration flexibility, and outstanding audio performance, the NetMax N8000 is equally suitable for fixed installation as mobile professional audio productions.
