ETA Systems Announces Major Product Line Expansion and Product Addition

ETA Systems, a leading manufacturer of power conditioning systems in the audio and video industries, has announced the addition of isolation transformer-based power line conditioners and uninterruptible power managers (UPM) to its family of power protection solutions. The product extension and addition is a result of ETA's recent acquisition by Waukegan, Ill.-based power quality solutions provider Powervar.
"Innovative isolation transformer based products represent ETA’s pursuit of technology driven products that stand alone when compared to today’s existing industry technology,” says ETA’s National Sales Manager Victor Pavona. “Innovative products such as these, in this market, are long overdue.”
“The digital audio and video systems of today have become so sophisticated and mission critical that they require higher levels of power management than are currently being offered,” states Dennis Ver Mulm, vice president of marketing for Powervar.

These new products are centered around ETA’s philosophy on the ABC’s of power conditioning which calls for a surge diverter, isolation transformer, and noise filter to be part of the digital power quality solution.
ETA power ponditioners work fulltime to prevent an array of power-quality problems. They are designed for use with today’s highly sophisticated digital technology. ETA’s new Power Conditioner includes 24 models for North American and international use.
ETA’s new Uninterruptible Power Manager (UPM) is designed to keep systems running when the power goes out. The UPM also works fulltime to prevent an array of power quality problems like high-energy surges, high-frequency noise, and common-mode voltage. The new UPM will be offered in five North American models and five international models ranging from 350 VA to 1440 VA.
