Bruce Terrell, 58, longtime Miami resident and co-owner of MAG Sales/C&E Marketing, died Dec. 23, 2005, from a sudden heart attack. Bruce’s wife of 32 years, Viviane, survives along with his mother Mary, sister Trish, and brother Michael.
Bruce teamed up with business partners Allen Lundy in 1982 and Michael Sajecki in 1998 to provide electronics manufacturers professional sales and marketing representation in Florida. MAG Sales/C&E Marketing is recognized by its peers and customers as a market maker in consumer electronics.
The business provided Bruce with a portal to live a professional life that meshed with personal relationships. His friends and associates often began conversations with "Remember when…," indicating the long-term loyalty that was one of Bruce’s greatest qualities.
Graduating Southwest High in 1965, Bruce earned his B.A. from Florida State University. Bruce lived life with passions for softball, the blues, and New Orleans cooking: things he shared with those who will miss him.
Florida softball players will remember the tenacity Bruce showed as first baseman for the Florida Crush. Always mixing his competitive spirit with a playful jab to remind fellow players that it is still a game, Bruce and the Crush won several 50 and Over National Championships, an accomplishment of great pride.
A wake for Bruce was held Dec. 29 at the Titanic Brewery in Coral Gables, Fla. In a continuing tradition of helping others, the Terrell family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations instead be made to the American Heart Association.
