Tripp Lite introduced its new line of Rackmount Pure Sine Wave and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) UPS systems for the audio/video market. Tripp Lite's UPS technology is now available to A/V resellers and installers.

Tripp Lite's new UPS systems offer customers more protection than a traditional power conditioning center by keeping PVRs/DVRs, music servers, media centers, and control systems running through power anomalies and by avoiding system freeze-ups, lost recording time, and DLP/LCD bulb replacement. Furthermore, Tripp Lite's technology ensures the crystal-clear picture and full sound that audio/video enthusiasts demand from their A/V systems. All A/V series UPS systems seamlessly integrate into any size setup, ensuring hassle-free installations.

"Tripp Lite is trusted at the highest levels of the IT community to keep mission-critical servers protected from debilitating power problems," says Jim Folk, executive vice president of Tripp Lite. "Tripp Lite's entrance into the audio/video market brings this same level of trusted protection to audio/video installations."

Tripp Lite's competitively priced A/V series includes Pure Sine Wave UPS systems in 2U rackmount and cabinet designs, as well as 1U rackmountable AVR systems with capacities up to 2200VA. These UPS systems offer such features as IP-addressable capability, remote diagnostics, individual outlet control, communication ports, phone/DSL/Ethernet line surge protection, extended battery backup runtime capability, and EMI/RFI line noise filtering. In addition, Tripp Lite's new A/V series has been certified with Creston Electronics' Integrated Partner program, AMX's InConcert Partner program, Control4's Integrated Partner program, and Exceptional Innovation's Strategic Lifeware Compatibility Partner program.
