Shure announced that Patrick Kilroy has been hired as its new vice president of global marketing. He brings 20 years of experience in consumer products, technology, and retail marketing to the company.
Most recently, Kilroy was vice president of marketing at ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, where he led the Visual Communications business unit, developed new products, and increased ACCO's market share from 20 percent to more than 80 percent in its largest product category.
"Pat has such a diverse background in both his professional and personal experience that we really felt he was the right fit for this position," says Chris Schyvinck, executive vice president of global marketing and sales. "He had been working with us as a consultant for some time, and we were impressed by his broad experience, cultural fit, and approach to team-building. Shure is a strong brand, but we felt as though we needed someone to help leverage it better."
