NXT and NCT Group

NXT signed an agreement with NCT Group to redesign the Gekko loudspeaker line for its Distributed Media Corporation International Ltd. subsidiary. DMCI developed an international network of place-based advertising systems with CD-quality music programming, audio advertising and color visual displays, which use the Gekko loudspeakers.

Security Broadband and March Networks

Austin, Texas-based Security Broadband Corp. expanded partnership with March Networks Corp. to provide video- and audio-enabled alarm-management hardware and services for a new broadband home security system. March Networks is based in Ottawa, Ontario.

LTI and AV Washington

Systems design and integration company AV Washington will begin marketing and selling LTI training services under preferred pricing and access terms. AVAD and Silicon Image

A national distribution agreement between AVAD LLC and Silicon Image (maker of high-bandwidth semiconductors for mass markets and digital-video image processing technology including the iScan line doublers) allows AVAD to distribute Silicon Image products nationwide. Vela and Toshiba

To enhance distribution capabilities, Toshiba is employing Vela's CineCast line of MPEG decoding products. Now, Toshiba can simultaneously broadcast the same programming to cable customers, digital and local broadcasters and metropolitan-area broadcasters in and around Japan. Evans and Barco

Barco has a strategic alliance with Evans Consoles to jointly market control room services and products as part of a total control center. The companies are working together because customers will benefit from the combination of design know-how and monitoring display solutions.
