Behringer acquires rights to CoolAudio

Behringer has acquired the rights to the entire CoolAudio technology from Intersil Corporation, a semiconductor manufacturer. CoolAudio is a digital amplification technology for amps with power ratings of up to 4,000 Wrms. The CoolAudio Class D technology enables an efficiency of more than 90%. Behringer Digital Technologies has been formed to market and further develop CoolAudio and related technologies.
