Escient co-founders honored

Scott Jones and Thomas Doherty were awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, 1999, in the Technology/Software/Internet category for Indiana. The company they founded, Escient, develops products that merge Internet power with home entertainment devices. Being named first in the regional finals, Jones and Doherty are now eligible for the national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, the award honoring outstanding owners of fast-growing companies.
