Christie, a leading provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment, and industry, has launched the latest in the company’s line of powerful LCD projectors, the Christie LX55. With 5500 ANSI lumens and 1000:1 contrast ratio, the Christie LX55 is a high-brightness, compact projector, designed for unobtrusive installations and is perfect for small auditoriums, large conference rooms, classrooms, and houses of worship.

With native XGA resolution and support for signals up to UXGA and 1080i HDTV, the Christie LX55 delivers unmatched performance, flexibility, and presentation power. High-performance 10-bit image processing provides crisp, bright images from standard definition to all current HD video sources. Featuring motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift, the Christie LX55 is easy to set up. A range of fixed and zoom lenses with throw ratios from 0.8:1 to 6.0:1 offers installation flexibility. New optical design with the latest LCD technology and an optional long-life filter system improves reliability and reduces maintenance.
