Pioneer Electronics introduced two new high-definition commercial plasmas that use PureDrive Pro circuitry, along with other proprietary technologies, to deliver exceptional picture quality for commercial applications at InfoComm.
PureDrive Pro, developed exclusively for professional displays, is one of the industry’s most powerful signal processing engines to maintain the purest digital signal possible for minimal data loss from any signal type. The 60in. PDP-607CMX and 50in. PDP-507CMX stand apart from ordinary displays in their ability to deliver sharper, more focused images with improved efficiency using proprietary technologies, like PureDrive Pro, developed by Pioneer during the past eight years.
“Superior image quality is one of the most important aspects of a professional plasma, whether it’s for a public venue or executive boardroom, the display must be able to get your message across with picture that is both eye-catching and easy to view,” says Jim Krodel, vice president of industrial display for Pioneer Electronics. “We’ve incorporated the same breakthrough technologies that made our consumer plasmas amazing, to our new professional plasmas to provide a picture that truly sets itself apart from current displays.”
Pioneer has also introduced its next-generation, full-featured industrial DVD-video player designed for professional applications. The DVD-V8000 builds upon its predecessor’s advanced capabilities to provide users with a robust feature set that delivers improved durability and exceptional picture quality. The player’s new form factor allows for easier rack mounting; a new front-panel LCD display and navigation keys allow for enhanced ease of use; and USB interfaces allow connectivity for a computer mouse, USB Flash memory, or handwriting device.
“To meet the continually advancing needs of professional users, a product needs to combine the highest level of reliability and flexibility to maintain its usage now and in the future,” says Linda Toleno, vice president of sales industrial DVD-video products at Pioneer. “Our DVD-V8000 brings professional DVD-video to the next level with an advanced feature set that includes our own proven technologies along with the user-friendly capabilities that make it an ideal choice for industrial applications.”
