Modern AV gear can only reach its full potential if it is installed correctly, and the way it is mounted and housed is a critical factor in its effectiveness and ease of operation. Fortunately, technology furniture manufacturers have kept pace with the developments in AV hardware. The ingenious solutions they have found to cope with cables, flanges, protruding connectors, and the varying body sizes and a work style of the operators is a credit to their imagination and resourcefulness. The examples assembled here show just how far these trends have come.

The basic tables have rigid, high-pressure laminate with vinyl-edge banding, while the Plus tables have contoured laminate work surfaces with smooth edges.
