LG LY340C Series
The LC LY340C series is a super-slim direct-backlight LED large-format display featuring full HD display capabilities and interactive service support. The series offers optimized features for efficient systems integrator management, such as Public Display Mode, USB cloning, and expansive connectivity options for remote management and diagnostics.

Legacy Church, located in Albuquerque, N.M., recognized that it could save time and money, as well as more easily share updates with its community, highlight upcoming events and activities, support members of the congregation, and enhance the worship experience during service, by adopting a versatile digital signage network.

Messenger Media Systems, a service design/builder and systems integrator, installed more than 60 LG displays throughout the campus over a two-week time period. Messenger Media Systems installed a standard single wall-mounted solution in the foyer of the worship center, which involved a custom designed grid with 10 LG displays that were configured in both landscape and portrait. A circle truss was suspended from the ceiling with seven LG displays that can switch back and forth from a live feed to traditional digital signage. Plus, two quad LG videowalls were installed in strategic locations for better viewing of the live worship ceremony that takes place each week.

The displays installed at Legacy Church include LG’s premium LY340C series LED large-format displays. Joining the LY340C displays are LG’s WL30MS-D direct LED full HD display and WV50BR-B direct LED super narrow bezel display.

“We needed thin and uniform bezels on the displays to accommodate the unique configuration of the installation for the grid wall,” says Duane Keil, project manager, Messenger Media Systems.

When it came to content, Messenger settled on BrightSign’s XD1230 media player, which allows the user to upload media content wirelessly, as well as schedule content days or months in advance. QAM technology, generated by a ZEEVEE QAM Modulator, is used to send live video feed to most of the units.

The new displays are also being used to support Legacy Church ministry programs that meet in classrooms across the campus. LG displays were installed outside each classroom to provide class details, including the class name, time and instructor.
