MMD Dimenco 3D Displays

MMD has announced a new line of no-glasses 3D displays with autostereoscopic technology. The line, developed in conjunction with Dimenco, includes the Philips 23in. BDL23301VS, 42in. BDL4251VS, and 55in. BDL5571VS. The 3D displays can achieve up to 28 viewing angles via lenticular technology, according to the company. The no-glasses 3D display line can play both 2D and 3D (2D+Z) images and videos. The integrated Dimenco rendering core works with the Dimenco interface format (2D+Z), which gives content creators and end-users full control of the depth-effect characteristics of their 3D images and offers simple creation of 3D content. The displays also feature HDMI and DVI-D digital connectivity and a RS-232C port (42in. and 55in.).
