Royal Makes the Grade with New Organizers and PDAs

Royal Consumer Information Products announced that its E-Minder feature (patent pending), is included on all Royal 2006 organizers and PDAs. The E-Minder’s proactive flashing alert ensures students will be on time every time. E-Minders use a traffic-light-based format of flashing red, yellow, and green LEDs to provide advanced visual warnings of upcoming events.
A green LED flashes to confirm a saved scheduled event. A yellow LED flashes 24 hours before the event, and a red LED flashes on the day of the scheduled event. Turn on the organizer or PDA, and the details of the event appear on the screen. “Royal’s PDAs and Organizers with the new E-Minder feature are the perfect companions for students who need to stay on top of their increasingly busy academic and personal lives,” notes Bob Robinson, executive director of marketing for Royal Consumer Information Products.
All of Royal’s PDAs and Organizers—the EZVue 6, Extreme 6, and the keyboard-based 6070R and Enova 6 models—feature full touchscreen RoyalGlo displays and provide an array of practical tools that can help squeeze more time from busy schedules. Each model offers a calendar and schedule planner with alarm; information directory with calorie and carbohydrate lists; games; mortgage, financial, and mileage calculators; built-in data protection to guard against data loss; American Heritage Spell Checker; Thesaurus English-Spanish and English-French Translator; and lots more. A stylus is included for touchscreen models.
With its convenient slide-in, slide-out keyboard, the elegant Royal EZVue 6 packs 3MB of memory in a compact design that features a six-line, full touchscreen, backlit display; full address book; directory of toll-free numbers; checkbook calculator; to-do list; memo book; and an array of financial functions.
The compact Royal Extreme 6 six-line, full touchscreen backlit display design features 2MB of memory, a full address book, 10-digit calculator, built-in clock with 12/24 hour format, metric and currency conversion, password protection, information directories, phone list, and array of financial functions.
The economical Enova 6 and Royal 5070R each offer five-line displays with 256KB of memory that provides a full address book, an array of information directories, mileage calculator, multi-language prompts, to-do list, memo book, and many additional features. A dedicated calculator keypad saves times and adds to the functionality of the products.
The Extreme 6 and EZVue 6 include PDO Desktop PC software, a fully featured personal information manager (PIM) for easy data entry and date synchronization. Both models can also be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.
