Sony‘s new ECM-322BC and ECM-322BMP headset microphone systems are designed for comfort and clear sound pickup in live-sound, house-of-worship, corporate, and educational applications. “These new headset mics represent a completely new type of design,” says Paul Foschino, senior marketing manager for professional audio at Sony Electronics. “Lightweight, extremely comfortable, and inconspicuous, these systems were created to provide AV presenters, lecturers, ministers, and educators with state-of-the-art hands-free capability.”

The ECM-322BMP microphone is also available in a UWP-X5 headset/wireless package, which includes a body-pack transmitter and a plug-in wireless tuner module. These wireless tuner modules can be plugged into Sony’s “all-in-one” SRP-X700P and SRP-X500P digitally powered mixer/amplifiers, which can each accept two UWP Series tuner modules. Additionally, the new Sony MB-X6 tuner base can accept a maximum of six wireless modules.

The ECM-322BC headset microphone system features a four-pin connector for Sony’s WL-800 Wireless Series, and will be available this fall at a suggested list price of $165.

The ECM-322BMP headset microphone system has a 1/8in. connector for the UWP Series Wireless, and will be available this fall at a suggested list price of $150.

The UWP-X5 Headset/Wireless Package—including the ECM-322BMP headset, UWP body-pack transmitter, and URX-M1 tuner module—will also be available this fall for a suggested list price of $699.
