Shipped: June 2013

This is the next generation of Prysm’s Laser Phosphor Display (LPD), which received prior awards for its low power requirements, high resolution, and ability to scale seamlessly and to a huge size. The new TD2 tile features 427×320 per tile resolution, allowing videowalls to scale to 2X and 3X HD. The underlying technology generates an image using ultra-violet solid-state lasers to scan the surface of the screen to excite the phosphor; tiles emit no heat and run completely cool. Each tile draws 30W with a lifespan of 60,000 hours and is completely recyclable. Since the release of the technology about two years ago, it has been applied in installations across many verticals markets.
