Outlaw Audio has entered the loudspeaker market with the Outlaw Bookshelf loudspeaker. Drivers include a fully shielded 1in. silk dome tweeter with a bucking magnet that’s said to eliminate stray magnetic forces, and a 5.25in. paper cone woofer with a die-cast magnesium basket. A high-frequency adjustment switch allows installers to boost or lower the tweeter output by 2dB to compensate for acoustically live or dead rooms. A three-position boundary compensation switch tailors output for placement near walls, corners, or in open air. Frequency response is given as 54Hz-22,000Hz +/- 3dB. Dimensions are 12 1/8in.x10 15/16in.x 7 1/4in.. Cabinets, made of MDF, are finished in cherry or black. Outlaw speakers are available exclusively via the Internet.
