PreSonus’ Commercial WorxAudio division has introduced the new XL1 high efficiency line array loudspeaker. Designed as a compact high-performance system for the reproduction of speech and music program material, the XL1 incorporates a large-format 1.4-inch exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary FlatWave Former that delivers clear, penetrating high frequencies over a predictable and con-trolled coverage area. Dual eight-inch cone transducers coupled to the Acoustic Integrating Module (AIM) minimizing cone fltering throughout the entire operating range. Available in both touring and install versions, the powered XL1 models incorporate WorxAudio’s new PDA-1000R power amplifier with integrated DSP and Dante audio networking capability. The PDA-1000R is a two-channel, Class D power amp with 500 W per channel and includes XLR input, XLR pass-through, and WorxControl (a loudspeaker management system).
