Clear-Com FreeSpeak II

Operating in multiple license-free DECT bands from 1.897-1.933GHz, FreeSpeak II delivers improved roaming capability, digital “Clear-Com Sound” for intelligibility, and new features for a high performance and more robust wireless option.

At Infocomm, Clear-Com introduced the FreeSpeak II™ wireless intercom system. Operating in multiple license-free DECT bands from 1.897-1.933GHz, FreeSpeak II delivers improved roaming capability, digital “Clear-Com Sound” for intelligibility, and innovative intercom features for a high performance and more robust wireless option. It’s designed for deployment across large-scale, multi-zone production areas with a large number of users. With the base station, up to 20 full-duplex wireless beltpacks can be connected; in an integrated matrix setup, up to 50 full-duplex wireless beltpacks can be used simultaneously by strategically placing up to 10 distributed remote antennas for an expansive coverage zone. The system includes a 1RU (rack unit) digital base station, newly-designed rugged digital wireless beltpack, new active antenna, antenna splitter, and new battery accessories. FreeSpeak II cellular auto-roaming technology continuously and automatically selects the best connection even in the most crowded RF environments. The new five-channel, full-duplex FS II-BP wireless beltpack was specifically designed for rigorous, continuous use. The exterior housing is constructed of of highly durable polycarbonate plastic and thermoplastic elastomer overmold; the beltpacks are IP-65 rated for water and dust resistance and the Li-Ion battery can last over 18 hours on a full charge.
