AudioControl is commemorating its 30th anniversary with the introduction of the Architect Model 1600 Special Edition power amplifier. The 16-channel high-current amp delivers 150W per channel into a 4Ω load and 300W a side when bridged at 8Ω. The amp was built to handle multiple pairs of speakers per zone to give installers the power required for larger rooms. With a robust power supply, high-current design and Class H topology, the Special Edition is the most powerful and versatile amp in the AudioControl line. Five bands of equalization for each zone allow installers to tailor the sound for each space.
