Pexip’s suite of Infinity videoconferencing clients allows users to engage in visual meetings on any application: desktop, WebRTC, and non-WebRTC browsers. The soft clients give users complete freedom to easily manage their meetings and see presentations and other conferencing participants with user-friendly features including muting, unmuting, and the ability to add/disconnect meeting participants. Infinity will be available as installable client software for Windows, OS X, and Linux, in addition to supporting all major browsers including Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. For users without access to an endpoint or UC client, Infinity clients bring instant meetings to anybody’s fingertips—even allowing organizers to simply send a link to collaborators outside the organization to join virtual meetings from any browser.
Control Dock
BaseSTATION by Vaddio is a meeting room solution that enables meeting room participants to use their personal applications on their devices (tablets, laptops, and network computers). By connecting via HDMI or VGA, the room’s monitor connects to Vaddio’s BaseSTATION control dock located on the meeting table. Users simply connect personal devices to the BaseSTATION and begin using their favorite collaboration tools. Unit peripherals include an HD point-of-view camera, microphones, and a control dock. BaseSTATION also has the ability to work with any OS and computer application that supports USB. As a result, any personal application that runs on a given device can now be a meeting room application.
Scaler
Extron Electronics’ DSC HD-HD is a compact, high-performance, HDCP-compliant scaler that converts between HDMI resolutions and frame rates. It accepts video from 480i up to 1920×1200, 1080p, and 2K, and offers high-performance upscaling and downscaling with multiple output rates up to 1920×1200, including HDTV 1080p/60 and 2K. The DSC HD-HD features advanced Extron video signal processing with 1080i deinterlacing and Deep Color, an onscreen display, test patterns, and EDID Minder. The DSC HD-HD is ideal for applications that require scaling HDMI video to match the different capabilities and requirements of sources, displays, videoconferencing codecs, and other equipment.
Microphone
Elite Wired microphones by Revolabs allow conferencing participants to enjoy optimal sound quality while seamlessly integrating with any boardroom color scheme or design concept. Available in multiple colors (including black matte finish, brushed nickel, and white), the tabletop Elite Wired microphones feature omnidirectional or directional (cardioid) models that are impervious to GSM noise. An optional mounting adapter provides lockdown capability for settings requiring fixed microphone locations. The microphones can also be used in tandem with Revolabs’ entire wireless solution portfolio, increasing the maximum number of microphones available within a single space.
Presentation Tool
Developed to help teams collaboratively create, share, and manage projects, Collab8 by WOW Vision wirelessly presents any content and allows collaboration from any device—PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone—to a display screen. Teams can create and edit a common document through their individual devices. Documents can be shared and saved by all team participants. Multiple displays allow viewing different content simultaneously on different displays, while annotation, editing, or highlighting the current presentation is supported via touch-enabled displays, allowing the entire team to mindmap or brainstorm by using their own keyboard and mouse.
Format Converter
FiberPlex Technologies’ TD-6010 adapter takes a variety of SFP/SFP+ modules for any format conversion scenario. Features of the TD-6010 adapter include two bidirectional ports for interchanging SFP/SFP+ modules capable of converting between analog video, SD/HD, and 3G-SDI, or HDMI media formats, as well as full duplex and BiDi optical, 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, and MADI. The unit can also convert between Dante, CobraNet, and EtherSound, or between single-mode and multi-mode fiber, as well as between MADI and Ethernet, and any combination thereof. Ideal for television, live production, conferencing, and corporate data, the TD-6010 can work in conjunction with Fiber- Plex’s popular WDM-8 and WDM-16 multiplexers, which take the same SFP modules to multiplex a number of media feeds over optical fiber. Complementing FiberPlex’s multiplexers, the TD-6010 supports up to 12.5Gbps per slot for high-bandwidth applications. A ‘uFAC’ micro-USB interface provides full control and reporting of any SFP/SFP+ registers including settings for video interface and link statistics, SFP status, etc., through a FiberPlex software application available for PCs and Macs.
Processor
Kramer Electronics’ PT-1C EDID processor draws its power from the HDMI cable and is housed in a compact Kramer Pico- Tools enclosure. Four DIP-switches located on the back panel help installers better integrate videoconferencing systems. One of the DIP-switches turns HDCP on or off, while another limits color depth in situations where bandwidth on certain legacy equipment does not support Deep Color. The audio DIP-switch provides a means for limiting the output of an upstream device to 2-channel LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation) for cases where the target EDID is asking for an audio type that other system devices do not support, while the EDID lock switch allows the user to lock in the EDID from the connected display or other displays/EDID sources.
Teleconferencing
Crestron’s RL extends the Microsoft Lync 2013 experience from the desktop to the conference room, enabling groups to communicate and collaborate in realtime, regardless of physical location, using existing Lync infrastructure. RL integrates with Crestron’s complete line of automation solutions, allowing the control of room AV, lighting, climate, and room scheduling from the same touchscreen. With one-button touch, anyone can enter a conference room and instantly start a collaboration session. End-users can share their desktops with local and remote participants; view and annotate over PowerPoint; use an interactive whiteboard remotely or locally using the supplied 65in. touch display; and share ideas and notes collaboratively with colleagues and clients anytime, anywhere with any device. Remote participants can join a session via Lync on their desktop. It connects over the corporate LAN. Simply mount the display, connect Crestron RL to the network, and authenticate. No system design or programming required. End-users who already have a Lync server will not incur additional licenses, fees, or infrastructure expenses.
