Analog Way Introduces Five Octo Series HD Presentation Switchers

Analog Way, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-end presentation switchers and image converters, announced at Satis 2006 in Paris, the availability of five new presentation switchers based on the architecture of the recently announced Octo Vue FX. These new products feature DVI I/O and support output up to 1080p at 60Hz. Based on a new architecture and Analog Way proprietary algorithms, the new range of presentation switchers offers an unparalleled price performance ratio. The complete range is made of three families of products:

1. The Octo Vue family with preview, PIP, and DVI I/O

2. The Octo II family with eight universal inputs and DVI I/O

3. The Quattro with 4 universal inputs and DVI I/O

“This series of 10 hi-res seamless switchers is the most comprehensive on the market today,” says Paul Schoukroun, marketing director at Analog Way. “We wanted to provide a range of switchers that would fit each and every need of the presentation market in order to be as close as possible to the ideal specification of any given configuration”.

All the products of the new Octo and Quattro series are fitted with DVI input and output. They will support formats up to 1080p at 60Hz and 1600×1200 at 60Hz to take advantage of the new video projectors and flat panel displays HD compatible or full HD. The pixel clock technology allows enhancing greatly the image quality and daisy chaining several units without compromising image quality.
