Analog Way Switcher Offers Four Scalers

Analog Way, a manufacturer of image converters and presentation switchers, rolled out the Di-VentiX II, a multi-layer, high-resolution mixer scaler/seamless switcher with keying that features an edge blending system with four scalers.

The Di-VentiX II offers eight universal analog inputs, including four fitted with digital DVI and SDI, which is compatible with SD and HDTV formats. The switcher also offers several live effects, including keying and moving PIP as well as three operation modes: Multi-Layer Mixer, Stand-Alone Embedded Edge Blending, and 8x2 Seamless Native Matrix. In Multi-Layer Mixer mode, the Di-VentiX II uses one output as a preview and the main output for the audience. The preview allows 100-percent viewing of what the main output will display. A full frame and logo memory allows the device to display up to seven layers: four live sources, two frames, and one logo. Live layers can be customized with borders, masks, movements, zoom, keying, or transparency. The full-screen frame can be used as a background or as a foreground mask.In Seamless Native Matrix mode, the switcher offers an 8x2 scaled matrix with seamless switching. The two outputs can be set with different resolutions to fit the display's native dot matrix. Embedded Edge Blending mode provides a stand-alone, two-projector, large, blended screen horizontally or vertically. In this configuration, the Di-VentiX II also offers the same functions as in Multi Layer Mixer mode; the optional video out can be used as a preview monitor.
