Anton/Bauer Welcomes New President
Anton/Bauer welcomed Michael Accardi as its new president.

Anton/Bauer, a Vitec Group brand and provider of pro camera batteries, chargers, and other mobile power systems, welcomed Michael Accardi as its new president. Accardi brings with him several years of expertise in sales and marketing, which the company says will help retain Anton/Bauer’s leading position in the global market.
In his new position, Accardi will be charged with taking the world-class business to the next level, reinforcing Anton/Bauer’s reputation as the first name in high-quality mobile power systems for the professional television and video production markets.
“The company’s success over its past 37 years is in no small part due to its commitment to exceptional customer service and the superior quality of its products,” said Accardi in a statement. “My goal as president is to maintain this sterling reputation, as well as see how and where we can expand both globally and within the U.S.”
Accardi has already started working on several new initiatives aimed at enhancing the company’s level of customer satisfaction and the resulting increased demand.
“Given his lifetime of commitment to several companies that are now a part of the Vitec Group family, appointing Michael president of Anton/Bauer just seemed natural,” said Joop Janssen, CEO of the Vitec Group Broadcast Systems Division.
Accardi joins Anton/Bauer after serving as president of Autoscript, which he helped make a worldwide market leader in teleprompting solutions, according to the company.
