Biamp Systems plans to expand its training and education classes in 2008 to include non-English courses, advanced training courses, and the creation of Audia certification classrooms in three locations outside North America.

“Sophisticated, high-performing technology without advanced training and education would be akin to providing a Formula One race care without an ignition switch,” explained Biamp Systems Vice President of Business Development Steve Metzger. “Today, with the addition of Audia certification courses in Spanish, we’re opening up our Learning Center to a broader audience of systems integrators and we will continue to look at ways to advance the curriculum and also the number of languages that we support.”

Biamp’s Learning Center is at the company’s Oregon headquarters, which offers twice-monthly, four-day immersive courses in hands-on product training focused on hardware, software, and their practical applications. According to the company, international attendance has dramatically increased the demand for seats, which will lead Biamp Systems to replicate its programs and infrastructure in three to-be-announced international training locations.
