Bosch Communication Systems recently welcomed Johnson Knowles to its team as a field applications engineer.

Knowles brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new position, primarily in the field of architectural engineering and designing broadcast and recording facilities. He also has extensive experience in designing broadcast cabling systems for sports facilities, such as NBC, ABC, NPR, CMT, MTV, NFL Films, World Wrestling Entertainment, and Sony Music; and he has done studio design work for Whitney Houston, Don Henley, Steve Miller, John Fogerty, Mariah Carey, and Michael Bolton.

Prior to joining Bosch, Knowles spent 18 years with Dallas-based architectural acoustics design and consulting firm Russ Berger Design Group, which he helped found.

“I’m very excited to be here, as the Bosch Communications Systems family of brands is uniquely positioned in our industry,” said Knowles, in a statement. “We can provide complete systems that integrate public address, intercom, life safety, and security equipment, all controlled via a single, all-encompassing platform like IRIS-Net.”
