Broadcast Pix Launches New Channel Program

Broadcast Pix launched its new Channel Program for the Americas to support its expanding marketing efforts and growth.

Broadcast Pix, which combines technologies from the computer and live television equipment industries, launched its new Channel Program for the Americas to support its expanding marketing efforts and growth, company officials said.

“We’re seeing tremendous demand for our products,” said Ken Swanton, president of Broadcast Pix. “Moving forward, we intend to rely upon our channel partners to respond to a flood of customer inquiries and interest in a timely, effective manner.”

The three-tiered program includes: Elite Business Partners, Channel Partners, and System Integrators, organized into six regions of North America and in Latin America. Six regional sales managers will oversee channel activities and sales in each region. Broadcast Pix lists its Elite Business Partners on its Web site, to recognize their investment and commitment, and provides them with training, sales leads, and technical support.

“In this mutually beneficial vendor-dealer relationship, Broadcast Pix will be providing its channel partners with sales leads, marketing, and technical support, and in turn, these resellers will build our business by conducting product demos and sales events, as well as driving home sales,” said Arco Groenenberg, director of sales, Americas, in a statement.

In order to qualify as an Elite Business Partner, the dealer must meet sales goals of approximately $50,000 per month and invest in a Slate 1000 HD (or better) integrated production switcher. While Elite Business Partners own their own demo systems, Channel Partners do not conduct demos. Systems Integrators consist of video professionals that design, specify, and sell as Broadcast Pix system solutions in the context of projects they are consulting or managing. According to the company, the systems integrators are critical because they open the door to Broadcast Pix installations in government, educational, religious, and corporate settings.
