REQUEST INCORPORATES TRIPP LITE POWER

ReQuest's line of media servers and iQ systems will include integrated drivers to enable communication with Tripp Lite's Internet-enabled professional-grade AV power protection products. Tripp Lite power products with the added SMNP Webcard are compatible with ReQuest's ARQLink Internet service, giving installers the ability to check power conditions and even reset power remotely. The integrated capability ensures a higher level of protection for AV installers' investments.

SWITCHCRAFT CELEBRATES 60 YEARS

Started in 1946, Switchcraft is in its 60th year in the connector and cable assembly industry. Started by three former soldiers fresh from their radio experience in World War II, Switchcraft was an early leader in the development of high-quality electronics components. The company developed the first and only guitar plug, the industry-standard 280 plug, and continues to develop and expand its diversified product line.

CIPRICO OFFERS MEDIAVAULT AND DIMEDA LINES TO WESTERN EUROPE

European distributor Polar Graphics will begin offering Ciprico's complete MediaVault and DiMeda product lines to users in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden. Previously, Polar Graphics only focused on select MediaVault products developed by Huge Systems, which was acquired by Ciprico in 2005.

JADOO DEVELOPS NEXT GENERATION IN FUEL CELL POWER SYSTEMS

Kuchera Defense Systems (KDS) has awarded Jadoo Power Systems a contract to develop the next evolution in advanced fuel cell system designs. Building upon the Jadoo IFS24 military development platform delivered earlier this year, the contract design will focus on system optimization and weight reduction. The goal is to replace the legacy battery technologies with fuel cell power systems weighing 70 percent less.
