Christie Warranty Offers 100% Guarantee

Christie Digital Systems rolled out details of the new Christie Champion Lamp Warranty, a policy that guarantees a full 100-percent credit of the purchase price for all eligible Christie lamps. Effective October 1, 2008, the warranty applies to all of the company’s CXL and CDXL Xenon lamps used for film and digital cinema projectors.
Previously, the CXL-20 was 100-percent covered for the first 1,200 hours and pro-rated between 1,200 and 2,400 hours of operation. The new Champion Warranty gives 100 percent coverage for the full 2,400 hours of operation.
“Christie cinema lamps are backed by years of quality engineering to an exacting standard,” said Jim Dukes, film cinema and Xenon lamp product manager for Christie’s Entertainment Solutions division, in a statement. “The new Christie Champion Lamp Warranty reflects our continued confidence in the quality of our products.”
The CXL and CDLX lamps offer high output and brightness, and are recognized by the cinema industry as a reliable light source. They are guaranteed against all defects, according to the company.
