Crown Audio has introduced the DSi 6000, the company’s newest addition to the DSi series of cinema sound amplifiers. The DSi 6000 is designed to provide further support for the JBL line of cinema loudspeakers, according to Crown officials.
Featuring automatic presets for JBL cinema speaker systems, the DSi 6000 boasts a quick and easy setup, the company claims. An intuitive front LCD panel guides installers through the process of choosing loudspeaker signal processing presets and other system parameters. All DSi series amplifiers can be configured through the Harman HiQnet System Architect platform.
“When increased power is required, the new Crown DSi 6000 cinema amplifier provides the power of 2,100 watts at 4 ohms and is a significant addition to the DSi line of cinema amplifiers that are the perfect match for JBL cinema systems,” said Chuck Goodsell, director of cinema marketing for JBL Professional, in a statement.
The DSi 6000 amplifiers include Crown’s light and efficient switch-mode power supply and weighs 24 pounds. It comes with a three-year, no-fault warranty.
