Based in Dubai and with offices in Toronto, Arrive Corp. this week is rolling out a new software platform that it hopes will help merge AV and IT systems for controlling and scheduling presentation resources (booth C2434).

The company’s Arrive Chakra convergence framework comprises software tools that help mitigate protocol conflicts, complex algorithm management, and data associations, according to company officials. The goal is to provide easy-to-use, open platforms. To that end, the company will demostrate several products based on the framework, including:

  • Arrive-ControlPoint, a unified control network management solution that allows in-room processors, such as those from AMX and Crestron, to be network compatible irrespective of proprietary systems.
  • Arrive-InfoPoint, a room signage appliance that mitigates room scheduling conflicts by providing network-based information outside a presentation room door on a 8.4-inch, network-connected screen. The GUI is based on user-customized skins and the system provides add-ons such as external frames to match user décor.
  • Arrive-MediaPoint, a digital signage solution that provides HD display capability from an Arrive-Appliance Network Player. No PC, software, or proprietary servers are required.

“Several users who are managing large corporate and educational IT departments, facilities managers, and dedicated AV and media managers have asked us for flexible, elegant, and customizable network-based hardware appliances that will make their life easier,” said Aseem Gupta, Arrive’s founder and CEO, in a statement. “Through our systems integration experience, we realized the profound positive impact a single and centralized management framework could have in improving the productivity and value of advanced presentation and conferencing systems.”
