Epson unveiled a multimedia projector that offers 2600 lumens of white and color light output, XGA resolution, and the company’s latest three-chip LCD technology. Company officials said the EX90 provides high performance for small and medium businesses that require a versatile, bright projector for high-impact presentations.

The EX90 includes a carrying case for portability and Epson’s proprietary twin-optimized reflective E-TORL lamp technology, which results in up to a 50 percent longer lamp life than standard lamps and cost-saving energy efficiency, according to the company.

“A great visual presentation is often dependent on the ability to engage and captivate your audience–whether you’re pitching a potential client or presenting the results of a successful campaign,” said Epson product manager Carrie Brown. “The Epson EX90 offers a combination of superior color, brightness, and ease-of-use that will enable any business user to deliver a first-rate multimedia presentation, including streaming video, sharp photographs, and crisp graphics.”

Other features include HDTV-ready connectivity options, 5-second start-up, Epson Instant Off, AV Mute Slide, and a 1.2x power zoom lens. The estimated street price is $899.
