Designed for portability and reliability, the CPX4 3LCD projector weighs only 4.1 pounds and offers a brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumens. The CPX4 offers networking capability via a wired or wireless LAN connection, through which an AV/IT administrator can monitor and diagnose the condition of every projector on the network.
The CPX4 also offers wireless connectivity and multi-screen functionality that allow four computer screens to be displayed simultaneously and wirelessly. Users can display content via USB storage devices, SD cards, or HDD media players, for a PC-less presentation. Additionally, the projector’s short-throw lens displays 60-inch images from 4.9 feet, allowing it to be placed close to the screen, eliminating image obstruction.
“As schools, businesses, and houses of worship continue to implement projection technology, the criteria for selecting the ideal product remains consistent–performance, portability, ease of use, and affordability,” said Hitachi product manager John Glad, in a statement.
The Hitachi CP-X10000 projector is the first model in the company’s new 3LCD Professional Series for rental and staging, videoconferencing, and large house of worship applications. It includes inorganic optics for a longer projector life, a 10,000-hour filter, 2,500:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness of 7,500 ANSI lumens. The ultra-wide range lens shift and 10-bit full digital video processing add a new level of dynamic presentation for the company, while networking connectivity enables remote maintenance and management.
Six bayonet-style lens options offer a range of throw distances for different audience sizes. The CP-X10000 includes an RS-232 network bridge for serial pass-through, plus a mechanical shutter for blank model. It also has closed captioning functionality and several anti-theft features.
“As projectors have become more viable solutions for very large environments, including rental and staging, the demand for advanced flexibility and connectivity is equal to the demand for brightness and clarity,” Glad said.
