Los Angeles-based Hoffman Video Systems, an AV integrator, plans to launch a high-end residential home theater division to provide design, installation, and service for custom home theaters in southern California.
Los Angeles-based Hoffman Video Systems, an AV integrator, plans to launch a high-end residential home theater division to provide design, installation, and service for custom home theaters in southern California.
“Los Angeles is one of the fastest-growing markets for custom, residential audiovideo systems,” says Andy Day, Hoffman Video senior systems engineer. “Today’s consumers are extremely savvy… and they demand the best.”
According to Day, the top three requests from custom home theater consumers are video servers, touch-panel control systems, and wireless Y5 systems. With this new focus, Hoffman Video plans to return to its residential roots, after concentrating on government, corporate, and educational installations. The company began in 1941 as a small radio manufacturer.
