Analog Way announced that its Soft Edge Blending Classes have been certified by InfoComm International’s Certified Technology Specialists Training Program.

Analog Way announced that its Soft Edge Blending Classes have been certified by InfoComm International’s Certified Technology Specialists (CTS) Training Program, earning 1 renewal unit (RU).

According to Analog Way, the demand for Soft Edge Blending (SEB) installations and shows is growing due to the impact of presentations enabled by the technology. SEB consists of large-screen images using multiple video projectors with overlapping areas that make the seams between projectors practically invisible. The application requires specific techniques, from the calculation of the screen size to the adjustment of image parameters in order to obtain a seamless image.

Analog Way developed a training program called Analog Days. The success of the sessions in Europe led the company to move the program forward with the addition of SEB training sessions, offered at its booth during InfoComm 08. The one-hour sessions were offered in English and Spanish and allowed attendees to gain the knowledge necessary to create an SEB installation or show.

Following the classes, attendees received an Analog Way Soft Edge Blending Certificate of Achievement Level 1. InfoComm then certified the classes, so now each class attendee will also receive 1 RU from InfoComm’s CTS Training Program.
