InfoComm Named Fastest Growing Association Trade Show
Nov. 6, 2007 — InfoComm International, the trade association for the pro AV industry, is among Tradeshow Week magazine’s Fastest 50 Tradeshows. The annual list is based on total net square footage growth and the percentage of growth from 2004 to 2006. InfoComm grew from 647 exhibitors in 319,680 net square feet of space in 2004 to 770 exhibitors in over 432,602 net square feet — a 35 percent increase in demand for space and 19 percent more exhibitors — at this year’s show.
“It’s rewarding to see the vigorous economic trends in the AV industry echoed in the strength of our show,” says Randal A. Lemke, InfoComm’s executive director. InfoComm 2008 is scheduled for June 18-20 in Las Vegas.
