Kramer’s New Distribution Amplifier
The VM-5DS high-bandwidth distribution amplifier from Kramer Electronics accepts one composite video and one unbalanced stereo audio input, and distributes the signal to five identical video and audio outputs, as well as a scaled output so the unit can integrate with presentation systems. Designed for duplication and monitoring applications, it has a 360 MHz bandwidth at -3 dB for transparent performance, according to the company. Scaled output allows the VM-5DS to pass a wide range of resolutions, including VGA, SVGA, XGA, and WXGA.
