L-Acoustics Appoints U.S. Hires
L-Acoustics has added several new employees to its U.S. distribution team. All of the new hires report to Paul Freudenberg, vice president of sales and marketing.
L-Acoustics has added several new employees to its U.S. distribution team. All of the new hires report to Paul Freudenberg, vice president of sales and marketing.
Paul Tillman and Dave Weidenhoffer, both former L-Acoustics reps, have come in-house to serve in the company’s newly created regional sales manager positions. Also, Jan Nguyen has stepped in sales and marketing coordinator.
“Dave and Paul have been a part of our extended team for several years and each demonstrated exceptional performance as independent reps,” said Freudenberg in a statement. “Their dedication to our product line and customers has been second to none, se we’re very glad to now retain their services on a full-time basis.”
Prior to his new appointment, Tillman was the principal of Champion Enterprises, a firm that represents L-Acoustics and was honored by the company in 2007 with the Rep of the Year award. Tillman will continue to operate out of his office in the Minneapolis/St. Paul suburbs and service the manufacturer’s Northeastern U.S. territory.
Weidenhoffer will focus largely on sales in the Southeastern U.S. region. He comes to L-Acoustics from Western Audio Sales, where he previously called on the Southern California and Nevada territories for the manufacturer.
“Considering that practically every loudspeaker manufacturer now offers at least one line array system, L-Acoustics’ influence on this industry cannot be overstated,” said Weidenhoffer. “And the company’s new designs continue to be every bit as forward thinking as V-DOSC was many years ago.”
Nguyen previously worked with Valley Crest Tree Co. of Calabasas, Calif., where she most recently served as a marketing specialist.
