Mitsubishi Promotes New VP
Kambara to vice president of its Presentation Products Division. Kambara will manage all marketing and sales activities for its projectors, data walls, and flat-panel LCD display products in the United States and Central America.
Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division announced the promotion of Akihiro “A.K.” Kambara to vice president of its Presentation Products Division. Kambara will manage all marketing and sales activities for its projectors, data walls, and flat-panel LCD display products in the United States and Central America.
“I’m looking forward to expanding my professional and personal experiences here in America,” said Kambara in a statement. “I’m committed to applying my sales and marketing expertise to continue our leadership position and bring exciting new Mitsubishi products to market.”
Kambara joined Mitsubishi Electric in 1989, working in display monitor products sales and marketing at its headquarters in Kyoto. Later, he spent eight years with Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America on the sales and marketing of its LCD and CRT monitors. He expanded his career as a projector marketing manager with Mitsubishi Electric Europe for two years before moving back to Kyoto in 2006 as projection marketing manager until his promotion.
