Neutrik, a designer and manufacturer of cable connectors, recently donated thousands of connectors to InfoComm International’s educational services. InfoComm Academy offers a range of AV courses designed and taught by an expert faculty that represents a broad spectrum of technical, sales, management, and professional disciplines.

“Neutrik’s generous donation of thousands of connectors will play a vital role in the hands-on installation training that InfoComm provides to AV professionals,” says InfoComm executive director Randy Lemke. The donation included several of Neutrik’s products, such as 2,000 XX series and XLR cable connectors in both male- and female-mated conditions (NC3MXX, NC3FXX), 400 SpeakOn loudspeaker connectors (NL2FC), 400 three-pole 1/4 professional phone plugs (NP3X), 400 NYS Budget series 3.5mm plugs, and 400 RCA-male professional phone plugs.

InfoComm’s audiovisual education and certification programs have had more than 50,000 enrollments since 1997. Courses can be taken online; at the organization’s Fairfax, Va., headquarters; or at the annual InfoComm trade show, to be held in Las Vegas, June 14-20, 2008.
