Shure expanded its offering of Countryman products to include new models and color options for its earset and micro-lavalier microphones. The latest Countryman products Shure will distribute are sold in configurations that offer multiple coverage patterns, skin-tone colors, and feature two types of connectors. The Type 85 direct box is also available.

The WCE6 (shown) and WCE6i earset microphones are intended for wireless applications where concealment is a priority. As the smallest and lightest microphones in their class, they blend with a wide variety of skin tones and are outfitted with a bendable boom that custom fits any user. Both start a $488.50.

The Countryman WCB6 micro-lavalier microphone is smaller than the cable of most lavalier microphones at 0.1-inch thick. Also sold in numerous skin-tone colors, the subminiature device performs reliably while rejecting surrounding noise, and lists for $571.85.

The Type 85 direct box is a rugged, low-profile device that delivers pure signal to a mixing console without added coloration, distortion, or loss of dynamic range. It’s available with a retail price of $231.07.
